Next week will (maybe) see some of Doctor Who‘s greatest secrets revealed in the season seven finale “The Name of the Doctor.” To tide us over ’til then we have a rather cool mini-prequel wherein the Doctor and Clara walk around the TARDIS all moody-like contemplating each others mysteries. Enjoy!

Well at least we now know it’s not only Americans who slip up and call The Doctor “Doctor Who.” To be fair, Victoria Wood started it, Matt Smith was only trying to be polite. Of course The Doctor was referred to as “Dr. Who” when Peter Cushing played him but if the top comment on the YouTube page is any indication, fans still take the issue very seriously. Anyway, good morning! Have a cup of tea and watch this video.

Ebertfest is the annual film festival for movies that the late film critic Roger Ebert held to showcase films that he felt were not getting their proper dues of attention, either from audiences or movie distributors. This year’s festival, despite occurring mere weeks after his death, went off with aplomb. In this video Eberts wife Chaz Hammelsmith introduces Tilda Swinton, who leads the audience in… well, perhaps you should just watch.

Mostlymade’s TARDIS piñata features a hatch on the bottom and a pullstring, just in case you don’t want to smash up your lovingly made TARDIS piñata and don’t care that you’re completely ignoring everything cool about piñatas (blindfolded violence) and also the opportunity to restage Van Gogh’s exploding TARDIS painting with candy instead of fire. We’ve been a fan of Not Literally for a while now. They have a regular “Ask Hogwarts” advice series and produce awesome nerd music videos. But this time, they’ve outdone themselves. They put together a song with original lyrics about traveling with the Doctor and made a video that plays like a montage of an actual Doctor Who season! It’s even got a Matt Smith lookalike whose name is Matt(hew Elliot).
