The BBC Investigates Booth Babes At International CES [VIDEO]

Last year, the BBC delved into the great Booth Babe debate at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and decided to do a follow-up to see if anything had changed. It hadn’t. While Booth Babes, attractive women hired to promote a product at a convention, are always a hot topic, some consider their inclusion at CES to be especially problematic considering it’s a professional trade convention. What do you think? Should these models be removed from the equation, should men be added to even things out, or do you not see their inclusion as an issue at all?

Teen Wolf‘s Jackson is Now Arrow‘s Roy Harper

A couple months ago, Colton Haynes announced that he would be leaving his role as “jerk with a messed up emotional situation due to the fact that he is a lizard man” on Teen Wolf to begin the next chapter of his career. And now fans of two shows know what that next chapter is, and it’s an interesting one for comic fans as well. Haynes has been brought on as a recurring character on the CW’s Arrow, one who shares a name with Roy Harper, a character known in comics by such aliases as Speedy, Arsenal, and Red Arrow, or, in otherwords, Green Arrow’s original sidekick.

Problem Solved: Geek Girl ID Cards

You might recognize Nerdache Cakes as the the young woman whose confectionary treats we feature here frequently, from an incredible birthday cake based on Gurihiru’s Baby Avengers, a set of Gotham City character cookies, to an entire cake based on one piece Avengers fanart drawn by Adventure Time‘s Natasha Allegri. In response to an anonymous poster who decided that this wasn’t enough evidence that she genuinely enjoyed the things she spent hours recreating in dough and fondant, she has created a gift for all of us.

I’m sure it will completely fix the “fake geek girl” “problem” forever. In the meantime…

Futurama Voice Actors… Voice Acting [Video]

There isn’t much that’s cooler than watching voice actors strut their stuff on camera. Putting real faces to the cartoony ones is always something of a revelation. I’m curious as to what characters Tress MacNeille is doing in this clip. The script says Bender’s Game, but one of those yells sounds an awful lot like Empress Ndnd.
