In a way this movie also features Marvel’s Star-Lord, since Chris Pratt is voicing the lead character. The Lego Movie also features the voice talent of Elizabeth Banks, Alison Brie, Will Ferrel, Liam Neeson, and yes, Morgan Freeman.

Also did somebody just like, chuck a shark in that council scene? In protest?

I must admit, I was very excited to hear Target was going to sell “Justice League” products. Not so much when I arrived in-store to find sippy cups and Wonder Woman donning pink and purple. But they put together a fun animated commercial featuring a mom who joins the League, and that’s pretty cool.

In what I choose to interpret as a tacit acknowledgement of users sharing accounts, internet giant Netflix has finally announced that they will implement features to accomodate multiple user profiles within a single account. As of now, the profile count is oscillating between five and six per subscription, but that has yet to be completely decided.

Something of note was revealed at E3 today. Stephanie Brown. Yes, the Stephanie Brown from DC Comics. You know, the one they don’t utilize at all. Now, don’t get too excited. Her appearance comes in the form of Scribblenauts Unleashed: A DC Comics Adventure. And she’s wearing a mask. But she’s in her Batgirl costume. I honestly have no idea what’s happening, I just know she’s in a DC branded video game and it makes me supremely happy.

I looked at all of these and tried to figure out which one to put at the top, and immediately realized it had to be She-Hulk, holding up the world. Obviously. I mean, not because she’s my favorite, or anything. It should be obvious to anyone. Hanie Mohd‘s gorgeous superheroine gowns in the art nouveau style are now being offered as prints and shirts at WeLoveFine.

The prints are beautiful, but I know many of you will be disappointed to know that the shirts are currently only being sold in men’s sizes. However, we at The Mary Sue know from experience that if WeLoveFine sees enough folks asking for ladies sizes, they get made. So I’ll just leave their contact info and Mohd’s artist page here. Each individual t-shirt page has a comments section in it, and that seems like the perfect place to let WeLoveFine that there are women out there who want these too.

The show’s called Incursion, it’s created by Spartacus showrunner (and Whedonverse/Smallville writer) Steven S. DeKnight, and it sounds freaking amazing.

No, Dean from The Iron Giant. Not because, ART, because SCIENCE. NASA recently tested out a system of transmitting data by laser beam to their satellite currently orbiting the Moon, an experiment that gathered vital information on the interference of Earth’s atmosphere and its effect on the fidelity of such communications. But they couldn’t just send any old thing to the moon, no. They sent the Mona Lisa. Explanatory video below:

If you were one of the viewers disappointed when Cartoon Network pulled their DC Nation programming block without warning, it’s almost time to rejoice. On January 5, DC Nation returns with new episodes of Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series. Here’s a promo for the former (with a few slight spoilers from this season’s previous episodes) that shows lots of new characters, plus our returning favorites.

At a recent trip to the theater I was greeted with two things; one was a message from the chain asking us not to use our cellphones during the show, another was a paid advertisement that talked about texting during a movie as if it were ok. Needless to say, while I assume most people are against cell phone usage of any kind during a film, there are those out there who think it’s ok. But a new app aims to reward customers for good behavior. Will it work? 

Robert Downey Jr. is riding high on his role as Tony Stark in both the Iron Man films and The Avengers but that doesn’t mean he can’t take on other fun project in between. For instance, a Call of Duty Black Ops 2 trailer directed by his Sherlock Holmes pal, Guy Ritchie. It features a few other cameos but it’s obviously Downey for the win.
