Yarrrr, I'll sweep your poop deck!

Machinima has debuted the premiere of the new Starz show, Black Sails, today – a week before the show hits your TV screen! So if you like your Pirate Booty manly (and who doesn’t), go ahead and check out the hour-and-a-bit long first episode of the Michael Bay-produced arrrrrr-dventure.

In case you missed our last post about it, Black Sails takes place in 1715, twenty years before the events of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island, and follows Captain Flint as he puts together his pirate crew (including a young John Silver). The show also has some interesting female characters, including smuggler Eleanor and Max, a “lady of the night,” which is intriguing. It’s put together by some of the folks behind Jericho and Human Target, both great shows, so I’m looking forward to this.

Of course, if you’re outside of the United States, you can’t watch the above video at all. It sure sounds awesome, though!
