Technology Guru John Mayer Predicts: Twitter Out, Tumblr In.

According to John Mayer, Twitter is over. Well, actually, he’s over it. But it all pretty much boils down to John Mayer predicting that, as Twitter seems to have hit its “cruising altitude”, it may be time to disembark. Let’s clarify. It’s not that Twitter has run its course, or that Twitter may cause celebrities to say things they shouldn't and then suffer the consequences. Instead, it seems to be that, for Mayer at least, the “Twitter-bred syntax” has lost its je ne sais quoi.

If you own a building in Dubai and you’ve tired of watching your windows being cleaned by the guy in grey overalls, this is for you. Spider Style, a “specialist Cleaning Services Entity and Rope Access” facility company based in France and Qatar, will now send Spider-Man (okay, a highly-skilled rappeller) to Dubai to inspect, fix and clean your building’s façade.

Godzilla Set to Wreak Havoc Once More in New Movie

Godzilla is officially ready to destroy the 21^st century. As first reported in August 2009 by Bloody Disgusting, Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. have finally struck a deal to release a full-force, CGI/special effects-laden Godzilla reboot. Says Legendary CEO Thomas Tull:

"Godzilla is one of the world's most powerful pop culture icons, and we at Legendary are thrilled to be able to create a modern epic based on this long-loved Toho franchise. Our plans are to produce the Godzilla that we, as fans, would want to see. We intend to do justice to those essential elements that have allowed this character to remain as pop-culturally relevant for as long as it has."

Bhut Jolokia: Weaponizing Peppers to Fight Terrorism

March 13: Ex-vegan attacked by former cohorts with chili pepper-laced pies. March 23: Chili peppers go counterterrorist. The revolution has begun. This week, the Indian military has announced its decision to use the world’s hottest chili pepper, the “bhut jolokia” or “ghost chili” to fight terrorism within India's borders.  In an act of pure ingenuity, defense scientists will replace the explosives normally found in small hand grenades with chili powder to immobilize without killing: the pepper apparently generates enough heat to startle a person while, we assume, troops swoop in. Just how hot is the pepper?

According to The Hollywood Reporter,Warner Brothers has acquired the rights to Adrian Askarieh’s original work, Leonardo da Vinci and the Soldiers of Forever. If you think nothing could be better than the title, here's the plot:

Da Vinci will be portrayed as “a secret society member embroiled in a supernatural adventure that pits him against Biblical demons in a story involving secret codes, lost civilizations, hidden fortresses and fallen angels.”
