A familiar friend is back in a brand new Ash vs Evil Dead photo from Entertainment Weekly. And we’re not just talking about Ash.
That car that Ash (Bruce Campbell) and Pablo (Ray Santiago) are sitting in? That’s totally the same exact car from the original trilogy. It’s held up this long! EW also shares Sam Raimi’s story about the car, power sliding, and T.J. Hooker himself, William Shatner. In addition to the little throwback, there’s a neat new image of Ash being, well, Ash and yelling at something, brandishing the ol’ trusty chainsaw with the American flag in the background because America.
As we shared last week, Ash vs Evil Dead is going to focus on the same old Ash fighting new Necronomiconic horrors alongside new Value Shop pals. From the sound of it, this is going to be pretty exciting.
