Trying to get in shape is boring. There, I said it. I’m sure I’m not going out on a limb there with most of you. But according to AsapSCIENCE, there are more “interesting” ways that your body burns 200 calories than just going for a jog. I put interesting in quotations because chewing gum for 18 hours doesn’t exactly sound like much of a picnic when you think about it. Still, the human body is constantly burning calories just to keep itself alive and functioning, and it’s pretty cool to see just what that converted energy can do. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to brush my teeth 45 times and see if that’s a sufficient workout.
