Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill Have Begun Work on Their Last Episode of Doctor Who

Hot off the presses of the Doctor Who Facebook page, the show’s production has officially begun on the last episode featuring Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill as Amy and Rory Pond, companions of the Doctor. The cast has apparently completed their last script read-through together, for the last episode they will film.

I mean. We’ve got neighbors. As for the cast and crew who are losing a companion, just take comfort in the example of Ten.

    I watched Journey’s End yesterday. No companions leaving will ever be sadder than Donna’s. 

    I’m not a fan of Amy at all. I like Rory, but I’m happy to see Amy go. She just irks me. Yeah,  I can’t really get upset about them leaving.

    I like Amy and Rory, but I am ready for a new companion. I worry that if they stay too long things will become stale.

    Rory and Donna are my favorite companions. I’m sad to see Amy and Rory go, mostly because I’m not super excited for their Kewpie doll replacement.
