In Case You Had Any Doubts, Amy Adams Is Going To Be Amazing As Lois Lane [VIDEO]

There are folks out there who complain actors (you know, those people paid to pretend for a living?) don’t really like the subject of the films they’re in. I say they don’t have to as long as they do a good job but this should shut those people up. Amy Adams is set to play Lois Lane in Man of Steel and while we’ve heard her talk about her love of Lois before, this clip from The Tonight Show secures it. It also secures Adams as my best friend forever.

She is such a talented, charming delight. I love her.

I had no doubts. She kills it in every role she’s in, whether she’s the lead or just a bit cameo like in On the Road.

    i’m so happy it’s her!

She’s pretty awesome but it’s sad DC doesn’t want Lois with Superman and is pairing him with Wonder Woman :(

Thus further proving Amy Adams is a wonderful human being. You know, if her performance in The Master didn’t tell us that anyway (pity it got overlooked at awards shows in favor of more “big emotion” showy performances).

She was brilliant in The Master.

Pretty much everything is sad at DC now.

What DC has done to Lois (and to Diana) is depressing as hell. But the bright side is that Lois Lane is the lead in Man of Steel and an incredible woman is playing her. The Superman/Wonder Woman relationship is loaded with terrible gender problems but at least we can focus on a great woman like Amy in the movie.

She’s one of my favorite working actresses. A rare gem of beauty, talent and class.

    She’s brilliant in everything.

Absolutely. Lois is the best part of the Superman mythos to me (well, Supergirl is my favorite), in part because of Dana Delaney’s portrayal. I can see Adams carrying on that same fire.
