I stopped watching American Horror Story after Season 2 (mostly because my nerves were shot) but judging from the promotional material for Freak Show, I might need to screw my courage to the sticking place and watch the series’ next installment. First FX casts some ridiculously talented actors for the upcoming season (Francis Conroy, Michael Chiklis, Angela Bassett, and Kathy freakin’ Bates, to name a few), then they release these images? Just look at Kathy Bates. I cannot resist her bearded splendor.
On top of these rad pics, FX has also released a Slender Man teaser (see above). Even if Slendy doesn’t make an appearance on the actual show, his American Horror Story debut definitely demonstrates that the pop culture character is close to being a household meme.
