[UPDATED] Thor’s Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Reportedly Cast as Killer Croc in Suicide Squad

Plus Lex Luthor and Wonder Woman's boyfriend might also have parts...

I mean, I would pretty much take Mr. Eko in any role, but this is extra cool.

The Wrap is reporting Lost and Thor: The Dark World star Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will take on Killer Croc for the Warner Bros. comic adaptation. Unfortunately they don’t have much more than that to offer on Croc, but they do reveal a few other things:

Representatives for Warner Bros. and Akinnuoye-Agbaje did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

David Ayer is directing “Suicide Squad,” which is set to star Will Smith as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo and Jared Leto as The Joker, as TheWrap first reported.

Jesse Eisenberg is also expected to reprise his upcoming role as Lex Luthor, while Scott Eastwood is set to appear in a small role that is rumored to be Wonder Woman’s love interest.

Karen Fukuhara has also been cast in an undisclosed role, according to an individual with knowledge of the project.

It remains to be seen if Suicide Squad’s version of Killer Croc will be more on the human/Waylon Jones side, or super-scaled up like an actual crocodile.

Also unconfirmed at this juncture is the timeline of the film, which Latino Review’s @elmayimbe suggests is this:

Akinnuoye-Agbaje will soon be seen on Season 5 of HBO’s Game of Thrones. What do you make of the Croc news?

[UPDATE] Latino Review believes this is who Fukuhara will play:
