Adam WarRock Pens Rap Anthem for Spider-Man Villains

Just What You've Always Wanted

We did say there was a glut of Marvel related news today, didn’t we? Adam WarRock, geek rapper supreme, scriber of songs like I Believe in Harvey Dent and I Will Do Science To It set out to make a short album themed by the Sinister Six, a group of Spider-Man villains comprised of Electro, Sandman, Kraven the Hunter, the Vulture, and Mysterio lead by Doctor Octopus himself. Things didn’t exactly go as planned.

I was in the midst of trying to make a Sinister Six mixtape, when I realized I was kind of telling a singular story with each of the villains. I instead chose to make it into one megatrack, nearly 10 minutes long. I wanted to see if I could tell a story about Spider-Man, without once ever talking from the point of view of Spider-Man himself. And so this track just sort of came out of nowhere and formed into this weird Game of Death-style fight, where one by one, each of the villains comes out of the woodwork, fights our hero, and ends in some kind of ridiculous, stupid, or tragic way. So there. Enjoy.

We did. And you can here.

Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
