Game of Thrones Episode 7 Recap
Probably the most obvious choice for this power grid, Luke and Leia are the children (unbeknownst to them, at least for most of the time) of Darth Vader, one of the most evil bad guys villains who ever existed in modern science fiction. If you need me to describe Darth Vader to you, you are even worse off than I (Jamie) am, and I haven’t even seen the entire Star Wars series. (Yup, that’s right — this is being written by a non-Star War fan. So, keep that in mind.)
Anyway, the Emperor is probably even more evil, but he is responsible for making Darth Vader evil, so that’s a lot of evil. (Right?) But fortunately for Luke and Leia, they were not raised by their father, so they turned out to be heroes! However, another downside to this is that even though they are not evil, they also don’t know (at first) that they are brother and sister, so that makes for a slightly awkward, incesty situation… so that’s fun.
So, Vader being an absent father might have been his children’s only path away from the Dark Side and into becoming victorious Jedi instead. But this is a classic tale of kids inheriting something great and powerful from their father — the Force — and using it for good while Dad gets his badness on.
